Contact us to find out more about medical teaching and learning opportunities in Ontario.
At the Rural Ontario Medical Program (ROMP), we serve 65 different communities located throughout Ontario. Not only do we coordinate rotations for medical learners in rural areas, but we also help those currently working in the medical field to connect with these learners and teach them.
If you are a medical learner, our learning opportunities revolve around several different components, which include clinical, social, professional, and academic experiences. Comparatively, if you become a preceptor, you will help the next generation of doctors and other medical professionals develop crucial medical skills and help them understand what it is like to work in rural and regional medicine.
If you are a medical learner or are interested in becoming a preceptor, please contact us if you have any questions about the areas we serve, the application process, or what our organization does. We are more than happy to provide you with guidance.
